Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty- Video

Hi there 350 owners. Today we're going to be taking a look at CURT's front hitch for your 2018 Ford F-350 Super Duty.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You will have to trim out a hole in the Air Dam at the bottom of your bumper so the receiver can pass through, but the rest of our hitch is going to be hidden completely behind that Air Dam so it won't detract from the looks of the vehicle too much. This'll add a 2" by 2" receiver to the front of your vehicle so you can add any accessories that you'd like here in the front. Whether you're wanting to put a extender in here to use with your ladder rack or if you're wanting to just mount a bracket that you can put in here with a winch on it so you can easily remove and add a winch.Items are secured to the receiver using a 5/8ths hitch pin and clip, which slides through the hole closer to the rear of the vehicle. One doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can get one at etrailer.com here. more

Today on this 2015 Toyota Tacoma, we're gonna review and install the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 65070. Now, this being a front mounted hitch, this is actually designed and intended for all winch mounting applications. You'll notice on the hitch itself, it's got two loops here for your hooks to come back from your pulley when you're winching your truck out of a situation. It does have a trailing application as well. A lot of times, you have a boat trailer or any type of trailer that you need to maneuver in a tight situation constantly, like for storage, use a hitch to steer it into place instead of backing it in.This does use a standard two-inch opening. It has a hitch pin hole here for your 5/8ths diameter hitch pin or your favorite locking hitch pin. more

Today in our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CURT Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C31071.Here's what our front hitch looks like once we have it installed. The cross tube is gonna hidden by the air dam below here and our receiver tube is gonna be sticking out right below our license plate. Our hitch is gonna offer us a two inch by two inch receiving tube opening so it's gonna have a lot of different options and accessories that we can mount up. And the way we're gonna mount any of those accessories is gonna be through the hitch pin hole here on the side. And it is gonna accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip. Now these aren't included in the kit, but you can pick them up here along with some locking devices to keep your accessories safe.So whether you're using your front hitch for a snowplow or a wench or any other accessory, it's gonna have plenty of weight capacity. more

Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Nissan Armada- Video

Today on this 2018 Nissan Armada, we're gonna review and install a Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C31081.This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed in the front of our Armada. As you can see, it is as close to the bumper as possible. You can still stick your hand in there, to give you an idea of how close it is, so it won't rub on your bumper, or anything like that.It's got our standard two inch receiver opening right here, and it uses a 5/8 diameter hitch pin, or a locking hitch pin.It goes back through here, reaches across, and reaches up to the frame on both sides of a frame. Actually, on the side, and on the bottom of the frame. So we've got three attachment points on each side. So, it gets a good grip on the frame of the truck.This is a great addition to your Armada because if you use your vehicle off-road, or get in situations where you have to use a winch, a lot of the times this is a perfect match.Another use for this, is that people will use this to put their boats into the water. more

Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty- Video

Today, the 2006 Ford F350 Super Duty, we're going to review and install the draw tight front mount trailer hitch receiver, part number 65022.This is what the hitch looks like once installed on our truck. What's really nice is the appearance of it, it all sits behind the bumper here, so it has a nice clean look and there's nothing sticking out.We have a standard two inch opening right here, which is great for a variety of accessories out there, such as a winch, that you can plug into here. Certain snowplows will plug into your front and work with that as well.We'll take a look at the side of the receiver here. You can see it uses a standard five eighths diameter hitch pin here, or your favorite locking hitch pin.You'll notice that the smaller diameter hole here, this is designed to work with the J Pin anti rattle stabilization pin for certain accessories that do not have their own anti rattle device.Now this is really intended for a winch being installed on the front of this here, and we'll cover the ratings for that. This is going to be .. This is going to have a maximum winch line pool of 9,000 pounds, and then a cargo capacity, which is the weight pushing down on the hitch this way, it's good up to 500 pounds.A couple of other unique ideas to use this hitch with, is actually use your ball mount you pull a trailer with, put it in front, and that way you can steer your trailer into tight corners or tight areas wherever you go park your trailer at. more

Its part number is 65063.Now, here's what your hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, it's a really clean look, a fairly easy installation. A few of the bolts are kind of tough to get to, to get the nuts on the backside, but you're not doing any cutting or any modifications to your vehicle at all.A lot of guys use these front mount hitches for several different reasons. Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Ram 3500- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 RAM 3500, we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Draw Tite front mount trailer hitch receiver, part number 65063. You see it's gonna have a nice, black powder coat finish that's gonna resist any rust or corrosion and it fits nicely right in the bumper of the vehicle. It's also gonna allow you to hook up a winch. It's gonna have a 9,000 pound max winch line pull, 500 pound vertical load limit, which is the downward pressure on the inside of the receiver tube and a 5,000 pound gross trailer weight, which is the trailer, plus the load included. Now I always recommend checking the owner's manual to see what the front axle load limit is and you always want to go with the lowest number between the front axle or that number and the hitch number. One thing that's really nice about this hitch is you get to maintain the use of your factory tow hooks. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be installing Curt's Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number C31071.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. As you can see, it's tucked up underneath our front bumper, so you're really only going to be able to see the receiver tube and it's tucked back far enough where you almost don't even notice it's there. It's got a 2" x 2" receiver end, so it'll work with any of your favorite accessories such as winch plates, snow plows, or over-the-bed extenders. It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. One doesn't come included, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com with part number PC3.It has a 500 pound tongue weight, a 5000 pound gross towing capacity, and a 9000 pound straight line pull. Front Mount Trailer Hitch Installation - 2008 Ford F-250- Video

Today on our 2008 Ford F250, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Draw-Tite custom fit front mount trailer hitch receiver, part number 65049. Now this is what our hitch is going to look like once we get it installed. As you can see the majority of it's going to be hidden here behind our front fascia. Got a small cut out there that we're going to make to allow that receiver tube opening to come through the front. Now this front mount hitch is typically going to be used for a front mount style wench, maybe a front mount snow plow or even some maneuvering of trailers around your yard potentially. Some people like to put a ball mount here and then get greater maneuverability with their trailer and kind of move it around without having to get two or three people together to kind of push it. Now it's a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, so this is also going to work out really well with a lot of the class 3 accessories out there. more
